The Maghara Sports Club- Jeita is conceived as a multifunctional destination that brings together sports, leisure, and community life within a cohesive architectural framework. The project is organized around a clear programmatic hierarchy, combining outdoor and indoor activities to create an active and inclusive environment for all age groups. At ground level, the design integrates a tennis court and a landscaped outdoor children’s play area, complemented by a cafeteria that acts as a social anchor for users and visitors. Internally, a polyvalent hall accommodates ping pong tables and daily recreational use, while maintaining full flexibility to transform into an open event space when required. The upper level hosts a dedicated gymnastics room, positioned to benefit from natural light and visual connection to the surrounding landscape. The project adopts a steel structural system, enabling efficient construction and long-span flexible interiors. This approach not only optimizes buildability and cost control, but also reinforces the project’s identity through an industrial, contemporary aesthetic aligned with the energy of a sports environment. Developed in collaboration with Najem Group Contracting, the project reflects a shared vision of delivering a practical, adaptable, and visually distinctive community facility rooted in its local context.
